How does it work
A thin layer of gel is applied to the skin so that the maximum amount of light gets through. The applicator is pressed against the skin and releases a carefully controlled pulse of light. Filtering removes the wavelengths that would only heat water in the skin.
The remaining light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair. That melanin converts the light to heat, which travels down the hair shaft and heats the hair matrix, preventing future growth from that follicle.
Because only hair in its active growth phase responds, a course of treatments is needed to catch all the follicles in an area. How many depends on the area and on your hair and skin type, and is set at consultation.
