How does it work

Androgenic alopecia, also called male and female pattern hair loss, is the most common cause of hair loss. Follicles shorten their growth cycles over time and the hair they produce becomes shorter and finer, but the follicle itself remains in the scalp, less active rather than gone.

Platelet-rich plasma taken from your own blood, and Calecim, a product formulated from proteins and exosomes, are used to stimulate those underactive follicles and encourage growth.

Before treatment we screen with blood tests for vitamin and iron deficiency and for thyroid problems, because these cause hair loss in their own right and need treating differently. Treatment is then a course, with a plan tailored at consultation.
