Dr Patrick Treacy opened the first Ailesbury Clinic in 2002, Ireland’s first dedicated medical aesthetic clinic, and opened the Cork clinic in 2005.

Dr. Divya Gautam
MB BCh BAO (RCSI) PGdip Clinical Dermatology (RCPI)
Dr. Divya graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons and holds a postgraduate qualification in clinical dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland.
Her clinical interests encompass regenerative and aesthetic medicine, with a focus on advanced laser technologies, stem cell-based therapies, injectables and the design of individualised skincare plans for diverse skin types, including skin of colour. Dr. Divya‘s practice is firmly grounded in evidence-based medicine, with a strong emphasis on achieving natural, patient-centred results.
Nurse Leah Byrne
RGN, BSc (Hons), H. Dip
Leah Byrne is a Registered General Nurse with a BSc (Hons) from University College Dublin, where she trained in partnership with the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Leah went on to complete her Level 7 Higher Diploma in Aesthetic Training at ATAI, with advanced certification in dermal fillers, and received distinctions in ITEC Level 4 Chemical Peels and Microneedling. This strong clinical and academic foundation provided a seamless transition into aesthetic medicine, which she pursued from early 2023.
Since then, Leah has worked at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, undertaking extensive training with leading skincare, filler, and energy-based device brands. Her clinical interests include dermal fillers, bioregenerative medicine, skin cancer, dermatology, and laser rejuvenation. She has recently passed her Dermatology Exams.
Nurse Gill Fortune
BSc Children’s & General Nursing, CIBTAC, CIDESCO
Gill Fortune is a dual-qualified Children’s and General Nurse with additional international accreditation in beauty therapy (CIBTAC, CIDESCO) and over 13 years of experience in advanced skincare and laser treatments.
Following her time in Australia, Gill returned to Ireland to complete her nursing degree, subsequently working at Crumlin Children’s Hospital and later holding the role of Ward Manager in a leading cosmetic surgery clinic.
Now part of the clinical team at Ailesbury Clinic, Gill brings a unique blend of medical expertise and aesthetic insight, offering patients safe, results-driven treatments with a strong emphasis on care, precision, and natural outcomes.

Dr. Americo Ortiz is a highly skilled General Practitioner with a Master’s in Medical Aesthetics and advanced expertise in dermoscopy. With extensive clinical experience and specialised training across aesthetic medicine, he combines medical excellence with an artistic, holistic approach to help patients achieve natural, balanced, and confidence-enhancing results.
Dr. Ortiz is known for his meticulous eye for detail and his commitment to personalised treatment planning. He takes time to understand each patient’s aesthetic goals, designing bespoke, evidence-based solutions that support long-term skin health and natural facial harmony.
His warm, reassuring manner and patient-first philosophy make him a valued member of the Ailesbury Clinic team in Cork.

Nurse Caroline O’Connor is part of the clinical team at Ailesbury Clinic Cork, where she provides a range of aesthetic and skin treatments with a strong emphasis on patient care, safety and natural-looking results.
Caroline takes a personalised approach to every patient, taking the time to understand their individual concerns and treatment goals before recommending the most appropriate options. She believes that aesthetic treatment should enhance rather than change, with treatment plans tailored carefully to each patient.
Working as part of Ailesbury Clinic’s experienced doctor-led team, Caroline is committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care and ensuring that patients feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey. Caroline has recently qualified as an advanced nurse Practitioner.
