What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are a form of biostimulator derived from DNA segments that regenerate tissue, increasing collagen and elastin production.

This DNA structure, derived primarily from salmon sperm, significantly enhances tissue regeneration .It boosts elastin and collagen production, decreases inflammation, improves tissue quality and density, and reduces pigmentation. The treatment is an injectable treatment using a tiny needle to administer it just under the skin at specific points on the face and body.

Polynucleotides require a series of treatment; to achieve the best results, we recommend 3-4 treatments spaced two weeks apart.

Downtime?

With any injectable treatment, swelling and bruising may occur. Your doctor will advise if you are likely to bruise post-treatment.

This can take anywhere from 5-10 days to resolve, and you can cover the area with makeup 24 hours after the treatment.

For under-eye treatments using polynucleotides, expect swelling for 24-48 hours. This area has relatively thin skin, so swelling may appear more pronounced compared to other areas.

It takes time for the collagen to get to work, so you can expect to see initial results three weeks after your first treatment. Best results will be noticeable after you’ve completed your course of treatments and will last 6-9 months.
