Regenerating your Skin from within

What are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are a form of biostimulator derived from DNA segments that regenerate tissue, increasing collagen and elastin production.

This DNA structure, derived primarily from salmon sperm, significantly enhances tissue regeneration .It boosts elastin and collagen production, decreases inflammation, improves tissue quality and density, and reduces pigmentation. The treatment is an injectable treatment using a tiny needle to administer it just under the skin at specific points on the face and body.

Polynucleotides require a series of treatment; to achieve the best results, we recommend 3-4 treatments spaced two weeks apart.

What do they do to the skin?

Stimulates Fibroblasts to reduce fine lines and wrinkles

Remodels skin to smooth texture and reduce scars

Repairs skin cells to calm inflammation such as rosacea

Promotees bio-regeneration to increase collagen

Improves overall skin elasticity to tighten loose skin

DNA fractions to regenerate skin quality and hydrate the skin

What areas are Polynucleotides effective for?

Eyes – Improves skin hydration and circulation, which can lighten dark circles

Cheeks – result in plumper, more resilient skin, and reduction in sagging

Forehead – softening the appearance of wrinkles and improving skin texture

Neck and Décolletage – improves skin laxity, crepey skin, fine lines and wrinkles

Hands – improves hydration and skin quality

Polynucleotides

Everyone can benefit from Polynucleotides. They enhance tissue quality, elasticity, and tone, resulting in soft, hydrated skin. Younger patients who are not ready for dermal fillers can appreciate the fresh-faced look, while older patients see improvements and can target specific issues like under-eye wrinkles. Polynucleotides, backed by science, effectively address these challenging areas.

1) Comprehensive Skin Consultation

This step involves a comprehensive skin consultation. This includes:

    • Examination
    • Diagnosis
    • Structured treatment plan

We always allow plenty of time to discuss any questions and queries you may have regarding your specific concern and treatment plan options.

2) Polynucleotides Treatment

For the best results, we recommend  3-4 treatments 2-4 weeks apart.

Treatments are quick and easy.

Numbing cream can be used prior to reduce discomfort before administering multiple injections across the area.

Downtime?

With any injectable treatment, swelling and bruising may occur. Your doctor will advise if you are likely to bruise post-treatment.

This can take anywhere from 5-10 days to resolve, and you can cover the area with makeup 24 hours after the treatment.

For under-eye treatments using polynucleotides, expect swelling for 24-48 hours. This area has relatively thin skin, so swelling may appear more pronounced compared to other areas.

3) Long Lasting Results

It takes time for the collagen to get to work, so you can expect to see initial results three weeks after your first treatment. Best results will be noticeable after you’ve completed your course of treatments and will last 6-9 months.

Our highly knowledgeable team at Ailesbury Clinic will advise you what will be the best plan for your skin going forwards.

As always good skin care will enhance the improvements

Can you combine Polynucleotides with other treatments?

Combining Anti-Wrinkle with polynucleotides offers a powerful refresh or a red-carpet look. Adding a tissue modulator like Hyaluronic acid-based Profhilo enhances this effect even further.

Contraindications? No other injectables within the past 2 weeks.
