How does it work
Profhilo is not a filler. Instead of adding volume in one place, it spreads through the skin and releases hyaluronic acid slowly, which stimulates the skin to produce its own collagen and elastin. The effect is described as bio-remodelling.
The treatment is given as a small number of injections at set points on each side of the face, or on the area being treated. It takes about fifteen minutes. Numbing cream can be used beforehand if you would prefer it, and makeup can go back on after about thirty minutes.
A course is two treatments four weeks apart. Most patients see firmer, better hydrated skin with softer fine lines, and results generally last six to nine months. How long it lasts differs from person to person.
